Communications between SafeCom components are already secured with SecureCom. Customers wishing to use an industry standard encryption are now able to leverage TLS 1.2 between SafeCom components.

V4 Print Driver Support
The modern standard in Microsoft print drivers are now supported by SafeCom allowing organizations to leverage Windows Tablets and the simplicity of V4 print drivers with their SafeCom print management solution.

Support for UEFI Secure Boot
SafeCom components are now fully compatible with UEFI Secure Boot.

The latest SQL Server that Microsoft has to offer is supported in this version of SafeCom server.

The most actual Microsoft server version Windows Server 2016 is support in version G4 520*10.

Nuance Micro Multi-Card Reader
A new card reader designed for both embedded and external use. Supports integrated card reader solutions including HP HIP and HIP2, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera and Samsung. In addition to the flexible design, the new card reader solution supports modern authentication options such as NFC.

Nuance Ethernet Card Reader
A single piece of hardware that combines the card reader and Ethernet communications into a single device. Can be powered externally or with Power Over Ethernet. Offers simple swipe and release capability on single function print devices and extended authentication functionality on certain Xerox devices.

SafeCom Mobile Print 4.2
The Android Print plugin allows users to print from their Android device to SafeCom mobile print in a more "native" fashion, without the use of the SafeCom Mobile Print App.
iOS devices have additional print options for number of copies, page range and color and black and white.

End of Support
The SQL 2008, Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 are not supported anymore with the new SafeCom server version. Additionally there is no more 32 bit installer for this version. Client side applications and components of SafeCom that are native 32 bit will continue to be offered.
